BB 12, 13 & 7 lead an EB mixed freight, returning to Staunton, VA
Title:  BB 12, 13 & 7 lead an EB mixed freight, returning to Staunton, VA
Description:  These cars could easily end up in Harrisonburg! The BBRR picks up stuff from CSX in Clifton Forge and returns to Staunton with a few stops along the way. From Staunton, cars can travel to Pleasant Valley, VA. via the Shenandoah Valley RR and exchanged with NS's Chesapeake & Western. Cars are also exchanged in Waynesboro, VA where NS has a small yard along the Roanoke to Hagerstown main. BB 13 is also an Ex-PRLE-KCS GP38-2 rebuilt into a GP38-3 and wears the attractive BB colors.

The Buckingham Branch RR shoves their train into the CSX yard
Title:  The Buckingham Branch RR shoves their train into the CSX yard
Description:  The WB CSX empty coal train came in right behind the BBRR and they traversed the same route from Staunton, VA. Amtrak also follows this route between Chicago and Washington D.C. EB loaded coal drags use the James River Dist. with it's far less steep grades.
